What we collect

When you submit a story through our Share Your Story form, we receive the information you type in: your name, email address, age (if you choose to give it), city/state, and your story. If you email us a photo afterwards, we receive that too.

How we use it

Story submissions may be published on this website. When we publish a story, we show the name you gave us (typically your first name or the name you'd like to appear), your age and city/state if you shared them, and your photo if you sent one. We use your email address only to reply to you about your submission — we never publish it and we don't send newsletters or marketing email.

If you'd like your published story changed or removed at any time, just contact us and we will take it down.

Who processes the form

Our form is powered by Formspree, a form-handling service that delivers your submission to our inbox. Formspree processes the data you submit in order to deliver it to us; see the Formspree privacy policy for details.

Cookies, ads, and tracking

This site does not run ads and does not use tracking cookies or analytics. If we ever add a simple analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) to understand how many people visit, we will update this page first.
